New baby photo...
























We have a house full of babies.  It can be hard work, but it gives me the chance to practice new lighting and composition ideas whenever I want (assuming the little guys are willing to cooperate).  This image is of our youngest, who's about to be a year old in May.  

I like taking shots like this, where the subject isn't necessarily looking straight into the camera.  It has a sense of peace and quiet, a certain innocence and intimacy that is hard to capture on film.  Babies are people, too, and sometimes you want to capture their quiet moments (no matter how few and far between they are)...
